Inspiration

I read and listen to a lot of many and varied sources of cool stuff in the world. Today I would love to share my current top 3 go-to podcasts!

1. The History of England with David Crowther; is a great resource with great humour. David starts way back at the end of roman-era Britan and works his way up through the ages without skipping a detail – soooo much good detail. Heartily recommend for lovers of history – and story! It is a tale nothing less than epic!
2. Gone Medieval and The Ancients by History Hit; noticing a trend here? And ok, I know this is technically two casts, but these podcasts provide so much inspiration I can’t begin to even explain how much of it I haven’t had a chance to listen to! Presented by professionals, interviewing professionals, they are always investigating history with a fine-toothed comb.
3. Seneca Letters from a Stoic; Just knowing that this wise old guy wrote a private series of letters which were saved, survived two millennia, and found their way into my phone so I could hear them, I find quite amazing. For that, it is hard to deny that his words still carry weight and should be well considered and studied. Always good to check out a major foundation of our civilisation.
